Richard de Lima,

Mr. de Lima is a senior member of the LCP Investment Committee for capital sponsorship and Managing Partner of a global corporate advisory unit. A 30-year financial professional, he has executed over $7B in equity and $700M in structured credit transactions, including directing the investment strategy and portfolio management of the firm’s proprietary asset fund. His documented mandate portfolio spans 25+ engagements totaling $23.375B across diversified sectors and geographies, with a cross-border focus in APAC and LATAM.
Prior to LCP, Mr. de Lima served as Institutional Asset Director and Head of Operations for a U.S. capital-markets division, overseeing a $750M proprietary long/short derivatives investment platform for six years in the late 1990s.
Over the past decade, Mr. de Lima has focused on cross-border, lower-middle-market M&A, including infrastructure initiatives in the APAC and LATAM regions. He specializes in strategic turnarounds, startups, value creation, enterprise scaling, and portfolio-agnostic structuring for asset-management holding companies.
Mr. de Lima is an established, leader-led financial and operational driver in the CPG industry. He co-founded and served as president of a multinational consumer-beverages platform, a B2C holding company with organic and acquisition revenue streams exceeding $50 million in three years, and exited the platform at 8x EBITDA in 2011. He also co-founded a music content/licensing, artist-management, and distribution venture. In addition, a licensed portfolio of energy-drink products generated nearly $18 million in sales by 2010 at 12% net margins.
Mr. de Lima earned a Master’s in International Economics and Finance from Rutgers University and completed a five-year program in International Business Law at Fordham University in New York.
He previously held FINRA licenses Series 7, 24, 55, and 63. He is an active member of multiple single-family-office private organizations, serves on several boards, and maintains a deep focus on financial and business education in underserved markets worldwide. He is also a frequent keynote and panelist at investment and business forums globally.
